The NFL has suspended Washington Redskins Defensive End Jarvis Jenkins for four games for violating the league's performance enhancing drugs policy.
Jenkins told the media at the Redskins training camp in Richmond that he was shocked and confused when he learned that he tested positive for a banned substance. He said it was an obscure substance he had never heard and doesn't know how it got in his body.
The Redskins are already thin at the defensive end position, with Adam Carriker suffering a quadriceps injury.
