Police ID man killed in motorcycle crash near Fort Lee

PRINCE GEORGE, VA (WWBT) -

Prince George police have identified the victim of a deadly motorcycle crash Friday morning as 51-year-old Gary Landes.

Landes was killed and a woman injured in the crash near the intersection of Courthouse and Bull Hill roads, near Fort Lee, around 9 a.m. Landes was riding a Harley-Davidson west on Courthouse, when it collided with a car trying to turn left onto Bull Hill Road, according to Prince George Police.

Landes was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman driving the car was taken to Southside Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. 

The road reopened shortly before 1 p.m.
