Developing news this morning: We have learned that a Virginia woman is among those killed in that horrific train derailment in Spain. Our D.C affiliate reports that Ana-Maria Cordoba died in the crash. Her husband and daughter remain in the hospital. Cordoba* worked as a benefits specialist for the Arlington Diocese in Northern Virginia.
Happening today, an investigation continues into what caused a fire to break out inside a Chesterfield home late last night. The fire broke out late last night at a home in the 5300 block of Niles Road in Chesterfield, which is right off Jessup Road.
Happening today--a highway will be dedicated in honor of a State Trooper killed in the line of duty. Master Trooper Junius Walker was shot and killed by a driver on I-85 Dinwiddie County. Today part of that highway will be dedicated in his honor. The ceremony will take place starting at 10am at a rest area, at mile marker 55. It's approximately 10 miles from where trooper walker died.
