VA woman killed in Spain train crash

A Virginia woman is among those killed in the horrific train derailment in Spain.

The Washington, D.C. NBC affiliate WRC-TV reported that Ana Maria Cordoba was killed in the train crash Wednesday night.

Cordoba, who was traveling with her husband and daughter, worked as a benefits specialist for the Arlington Diocese in Northern Virginia.  Cordoba's husband and daughter remain hospitalized.

More than 80 people were killed when the train derailed in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

Investigators say the likely cause was excessive speed.
