In this week's Neighborhood Health Watch we explore ways to keep control high blood pressure.
In the Tri-Cities Dr. John Clay is treating high blood pressure.
Dr. Clay says that normal BP is less than 140/90. High BP is often hereditary. It's known as the silent killer because most people are asymptomatic.
If you have high blood pressure it's important to maintain a low salt diet, exercise, lose weight, reduce your alcohol consumption, and keep track of your prescription medications.
See your doctor if your blood pressure is elevated on two or more separate occasions.
