The second victim of a fire that started on North 30th Street last month has died.
On June 25, firefighters responded to the home at 1221 N. 30th St., and rescued Ava Marcus, 36, and her 18-month-old child Atrell Marcus.
Atrell Marcus died from his injuries several days after the fire. Ava Marcus died on Sunday at VCU Medical Center.
Charges were pending against Ava Marcus for two counts of threatening to burn, but police have cleared the case after her death.
