Breaking news this morning: Henrico police and firefighters are searching for a missing person right now. The search is on for 65-year old Raul Castro Reyes. He has Alzheimer's and Dementia. He was last seen wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, black pants and black shoes. If you see him, call 501-5000.
It's been more than a week of heartbreak for the family of Brendon Mackey. Today, the 7-year-old boy will be laid to rest Mackey was killed on the July 4th when police say he was hit by a stray bullet in the parking lot of the Boathouse Restaurant. Police are still looking for the person responsible. Services will be held at the Brandermill Church in Midlothian at 1 this afternoon.
A hearing is set this morning to hear arguments that Elias Webb may be getting special treatment in jail. Webb is serving a three-year sentence in the hit and run death of bicyclist Lanie Kruszewski but prosecutors allege his punishment isn't being imposed properly. They point to Webb being transferred to the air conditioned Henrico jail, even though he was convicted in Richmond.
Today, the defense in the George Zimmerman trial will begin its closing arguments. Attorneys are expected to argue that *Zimmerman* acted in self-defense when he shot and killed Trayvon Martin.
