CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (WWBT) -
Governor Bob McDonnell's son is facing criminal charges after an arrest over the weekend in Charlottesville.
Sean Patrick McDonnell was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of public swearing or intoxication.
Sean and his twin brother Bobby are both students at the University of Virginia. They are graduates of Deep Run High School.
Sean is scheduled to appear in court in August. A spokesperson for the governor said that "this is a personal matter and is being addressed by the family."
