Hopewell Police looking for armed robbery suspect

HOPEWELL, VA (WWBT) -

Police need your help finding an armed robbery suspect in Hopewell. Officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 2014 W. Broadway Street around 4:44 a.m. Sunday for a reported robbery. 

They say an armed offender entered the business, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured during the incident.

The offender is described as a black male between 20-30 years old, 5'4"-5'5", 200+ pounds, with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a dark in color short-sleeved compression t-shirt, black in color shorts with white vertical stripes, a black & white patterned bandana covering his lower face, a black "doo-rag", blue in color gloves and displaying a dark colored handgun.
