State Police issue missing child alert in Spotsylvania County

Authorities are still searching by helicopter and going door to door - all to get to the bottom of a report that a man forced a young boy into a van and sped off. Right now, Spotsylvania officers, State Police, even the FBI are all involved in this case. 

According to police, a witness saw a boy walking down Hollybrooke Drive when a a blue full-sized work van with a white repair spot on the back pulled up near him. The witness said the boy was pulled into the van, kicking and screaming.

They're searching for a blue van that has 2 rear doors. The right rear door has a missing window...and the left rear door has a tinted window.

The boy is described as a white male, about 12 to 13 years old, 5'1" tall, about 70 to 80 pounds, wearing a red and white striped pullover shirt with blue cargo pants. Police believe the boy may be in danger.

The suspect was wearing a dark tank top and dark pants. No other information is available at this time.
