Police search for thieves who carjacked man on Hull Street Road

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

Chesterfield police are searching for two men who carjacked a man on Hull Street Road, then set his car on fire.

The two men got in the victim's Nissan Armada near the intersection of Hull Street and Courthouse roads around 11 a.m. Tuesday. They took his money, let him out of the car and then drove off.

The car was found on fire a little later just off Qualla Road near the Route 288 overpass. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Police say the suspects are both black men in their early twenties. The first was described as about 6 feet tall, wearing jean shorts, a white T-shirt and a black skull cap. He also had a mustache.

The second suspect was described as about 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing a white T-shirt and had braided hair with blond tips.
