The man accused of stabbing his wife, and leaving her to die at her Chesterfield home is scheduled to be in court on Monday morning.
Tony Williams is charged with second-degree murder in the death of his wife. Detectives say Williams started fighting with his wife, after she asked him for a divorce.
Williams claims his wife stabbed him first, and then he stabbed her back. Prosecutors say his wife was stabbed 23 times.
Their children found their mom lying on the kitchen floor of her Brand Oaks home.
