RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

An adjunct professor at the College of William and Mary has been arrested for pulling out his gun in front of children.

Philip Decamp faces four counts of brandishing a firearm. He was arrested Monday.

According to reports filed with police, Decamp's son hosted a sleepover on May 18 to celebrate his twelfth birthday with ten of his friends.

Decamp got annoyed with the noise the boys were making.

He went into the room where the boys were located, and pulled out his gun.

Decamp was previously a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, who commanded in Iraq. He retired from the Army in 2005.
