RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

The First Annual RVA Streets Alive Festival will begin Saturday and it could cause some traffic problems around the downtown area.

The festival will be held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on a 2.5-mile loop connecting the Manchester and 14th St. Bridges. More than 70 health and fitness vendors will be participating. The festival will cause a number of streets in the area to close.

Special guests such as Senator Mark Warner and Mayor Dwight Jones will be attending. The two plan to walk the course beginning at 11:30 a.m. and stop at many of the vendor areas along the way.
