Teacher's Aide accused of child sex crimes

Good morning it's Gray. Here's a look at some of the stories you will want to catch before you leave the house on 12 News Today.

Happening today, a jury trial for a former Richmond public school teacher's aide, accused of child sex crimes. The trial begins at nine this morning in Circuit Court. Back in May of last year, Alex Erby was arrested and charged with taking indecent liberties with minors. He was as a teacher's aide at GH Reid Elementary School on Richmond's Southside.

Tonight, you will get your chance to help out the people affected by last month's devastating tornados in Oklahoma. The Innsbrook foundation presents "RVA Cares" at Innsbrook Afterhours. This special concert will feature four bands and a family festival to raise money for the tornado victims in Moore, Oklahoma. The concert runs from 5-9:30pm.

Right now, a manhunt is underway for a man police say is dangerous. Officers are looking for 39-year-old Dorel Picket. Police say just after six Tuesday morning, Picket took off running into the woods during a traffic stop. When police looked in his car, they say it was full of narcotics!
