In Henrico, Dr. John Hulshoff is concerned about dehydration in pregnancy.
He tells us that it is important for pregnant women to drink at least 1 - 1.5 liters of water per day during the summer months.
Also, he recommends that you avoid or minimize caffeine intake which can cause you to lose more water.
Dr. Hulshoff warns that dehydration during pregnancy can lead to many uncomfortable symptoms.
