The Hanover Board of Supervisors member Elton Wade plans to retire as a school traffic guard when the school year ends this week.
This is according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch. You may reports about the controversy over Wade earning $41 per hour as a school crossing guard.
Wade said last month that seniority and the fact that he works at 2 schools justifies his pay.
Also Wednesday night, the Board of Supervisors replaced two Hanover School Board members. One was for the Cold Harbor district, and the other to the South Anna district.
