The threat of bad weather is already forcing major changes for outdoor events Thursday.
Dominion Power says it has multiple crews on stand-by. We found workers still cleaning up from the last storm.
"I think it's a little scary," said neighbor Micki Patterson. "You don't think of this stuff happening right in your neighborhood. But it's just around the corner. It can happen to anybody."
We found Patterson out surveying the weekend damage in her Blue Estates neighborhood. High winds toppled trees and snatched down power lines.
Now there is a threat of more possible storms.
"I hope it just skips right over my house and just lands in an area where there are no homes," said Patterson.
Trees still litter the area off Chamberlayne Road. Many outdoor events have been canceled ahead of the storms.
The Sheryl Crow concert at Innsbrook After Hours scheduled for Thursday is postponed to July 11th. If you have already purchased your tickets, they will be honored for the new date.
Tomorrow's Credence Clearwater Revisited concert at Pocahontas State Park has been rescheduled to August 21st.
Meanwhile, power crews are ready to roll out.
"We have line crews that are going to be on standby," said Daisy Pridgen with Dominion Power. "including additional contractors and tree trimmers."
Dominion Power says there is one thing you can do to help.
"We urge our customers to make sure that we have our most current information in our system," said Pridgen. "And by that I mean their phone number."
