Screening for testicular cancer

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - We hear a lot about the early warning signs of breast cancer but it is just one of many cancers that we should be on the look out for.

We have an example of another one in this week's Neighborhood Health Watch.

In Chesterfield Dr. Judith McKenzie is helping her patients with testicular cancer screenings.

Symptoms include an often painless swelling, heaviness, or nodule of the testicle.

Monthly testicular exams are recommended for all men age 16 and older.

Consult your doctor if you find a suspicious lump in the testicle or any other symptoms of concern.
