Miles E. Godwin High School was put on lockdown Wednesday after students put baby oil on the hallway floors as part of a senior prank.
Two students slipped on the oil and suffered minor injuries. Their parents were notified.
The school was placed on lockdown - students were not allowed in the hallways, but regular school activity continued - while the hallways were cleaned. The lockdown lasted from 9:55 a.m. to 12:22 p.m.
The school has identified those responsible and is taking disciplinary action.
"While this is an unfortunate and unnecessary act, we hope all students will learn that this kind of behavior always has serious consequences," said Henrico Schools Public Relations Director Andy Jenks.
Video claiming to be of the prank surfaced on social media Wednesday morning.
