In Richmond today, parents have the chance to weigh in on plans to shut down three Richmond City Schools. On the chopping block, right now: Clark springs Elementary, Norrell Pre-School Development Center, and The Adult Development Center. The school board also wants input on the possible re-zoning of more than two dozen other schools. Tonight's public hearing gets underway at 5:30 at Thomas Jefferson High.
Today George Zimmerman will be in a Florida courtroom. Zimmerman is accused in last year's shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin. He will attend a pre-trial hearing where a judge will determine the admissibility of certain evidence in the trial.
