The two children allegedly kidnapped by their father from a Braintree foster home were found safe in Windsor, CT, Monday night.

Police issued an Amber Alert for the two children after they say their dad forced his way into a Braintree foster home and took his two children on Monday.

Police say 54-year-old Jon Lockwood drove off with his 8-year-old son, My Tri "Patrick" Nguyen, and his 10-year-old daughter, Tien Nhu My "Sarah" Nguyen.

State police say Lockwood fled with the two children in a brown 1995 BMW with Massachusetts license plate number 478RF8.

Lockwood's last known address was a Foxboro Hotel.
