Parking and street closures for the Race for the Cure.

Street Closures

Byrd Street will be closed at 5th Street from 12 AM on Race day to approximately noon

Byrd Street will be closed at 2nd Street from 7 AM on Race day to approximately noon

To ensure the safety of the Race participants, the following ramps and streets will be closed shortly before 9 AM on Race day and will remain closed until approximately 10:15 AM:

2nd street ramp off Lee Bridge and off of I-195

2nd Street from Canal to the Lee Bridge

3rd Street at Canal

5th Street from Canal to Tredegar

Byrd Street from Belvidere to 9th

The following parking decks and lots will be open on Race day:

4th & Cary Street Lot - $5

Parking Garages

14th Street & Cary Street Garage - $5 flat rate
(900 spaces available)

6th & Cary Street Garage - $5 flat rate

Shockoe Slip at 12th Street & Canal Street - $4 flat rate
(600 spaces available)

James Center at 10th Street & Canal Street - $5+ based on time in the garage
MUST USE 10TH STREET ENTRANCE
(1000 spaces available)

700 Center on 8th Street between Franklin Street & Grace Street - $5 flat rate
(200 spaces available)

Crowne Plaza Hotel Garage at 555 E. Canal Street - $5 flat rate

Survivor Parking

Complimentary parking for survivors will be available in the Federal Reserve Bank parking garage located at 701 East Byrd Street, Richmond, VA 23219. Survivors, make sure to pick up a pink Survivor Parking Pass at Packet Pickup. And be prepared to show your parking pass as needed as you approach the Federal Reserve Bank parking deck from Byrd Street or 5th Street.
