It's graduation weekend for several universities this weekend and that will mean heavier traffic.
VCU, Virginia Union, and Virginia State are all holding graduation ceremonies over the weekend.
It's going to be busy around the VCU campus and parts of Downtown Richmond. The VCU Commencement begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Richmond Coliseum.
There are also several ceremonies for individual schools, taking place throughout the day at the Richmond Convention Center.
Concerns about weekend weather have Virginia Union moving graduation ceremonies indoors, but the change in venue could mean more traffic.
The university commencement will now be held at St. Paul's Baptist Church on Creighton Road. Since it's a smaller venue, you will not be able to attend without a ticket. Those tickets were distributed to graduating seniors Thursday at a rehearsal. The ceremony still begins at 10 a.m. Saturday.
