The man accused of beating a Goochland teacher will be in court Friday, and may plead insanity.
A judge ordered Uriah Harris to undergo a mental evaluation. So far, he's facing attempted murder and malicious wounding charges.
The attack happened in December where police say Harris beat his ex-girlfriend in her school's parking lot. Two other teachers are credited for jumping in and saving her life.
