CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

A Chesterfield woman faces child neglect charges for leaving her three daughters at home unattended.

Chesterfield Police arrested Tia C. Gray Monday at her Waterford home. She is accused of leaving her three daughters, ages seven, three and two-years-old, home alone. Police wouldn't say how long they were left alone or how they were called to the home.

Gray was charged with three counts of felony child neglect/reckless disregard for life.

According to the clerk of the court, Gray was not granted bond.

NBC12 tried to find out where the girls were taken, but as of late this afternoon that information was not available.

According to Chesterfield County's government website, there is no law in Virginia that specifies the age a child can be left home alone.
