A Northern Virginia family is still cleaning up the mess after a break-in from an unexpected visitor.
According to our sister station WRC, the garage door nearly ripped off, and police in Leesburg say it was the work of a bear. The family says they are still shaken up by their intruder.
The family says when they realized a bear was inside the garage, they quickly had to lean a chair against the door, to prevent the bear from clawing inside the rest of the home.
Police think the bear was attracted to the smell of the extra fridge the family had in the garage.
