Governor's former chef to appear in court for embezzlement

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Governor Bob McDonnell's former chef is scheduled to appear at a pre-trail hearing on his embezzlement charges Thursday.

The judge is expected to make some important decisions, including whether to recuse the office of Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli from prosecution, and whether to grant Todd Schneider's request to dismiss the case all together.

The hearing is set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday.
