Things are looking up for a VMI grad involved in a shootout with the Boston Marathon bombing suspects.
Donohue is recovering well, his brother told a Boston radio show. In fact, he's doing "absolutely awesome," in his brother's words. Donohue is laughing and watching the Fresh Prince of Bel Air in his hospital room.
He's come a long way from losing nearly all of his blood and having his heart stop.
Donohue was part of the Cambridge shootout that killed MIT Officer Sean Collier. Donohue graduated from VMI back in 2002.
