The dangers of poor diabetes control

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

Shelia Clasbey is helping her patients control diabetes. She gives us important signs to look out for in this weeks Neighborhood Health Watch.

It is important to look out for increased thirst and urine output, blurry vision, more infections that take longer to resolve, urinary tract infections, and skin infections.

Follow up with your doctor at the agreed-upon intervals to maintain control of these issues.

A necessary part of maintaining a healthy life when having diabetes is checking your glucose levels. Remember to call your doctor if the readings are too high or too low.
