NEW YORK, NY (WALB) -

Two South Georgia football prospects' pro football dreams are coming true.

Cairo's JJ Wilcox and Early County's Shawn Williams were taken in the 3rd Round of the NFL Draft Friday night.

Wilcox, a safety out of Georgia Southern, was taken with the 80th pick by the Dallas Cowboys.

He is the highest drafted player in Georgia Southern history.

Just a few picks later, the Cincinnati Bengals took Georgia safety Shawn Williams with the 84th pick.

Williams joins several former Bulldogs, including WR AJ Green and DT Geno Atkins, on the Bengals roster.
