Virginia man arrested in dog death and kidnapping case

Posted: Updated:
PRINCE WILLIAM, VA (WWBT) -

A Virginia man is locked up and accused of breaking into his neighbors home and kidnapping and even killing one of her dogs.

Some of the details are pretty disturbing.

Prince William County Police charged Khan Hong with two counts of animal cruelty. When a woman found blood throughout the home, she thought an intruder had come in through an unlocked sliding door.

Police say Hong stole two west highland terriers. He then allegedly duct-taped their legs and mouths, and put them in his trunk.

The body of the female dog was later found in a trash bag. One dog died, but the other survived.

Hong is staying in jail until his next court date in June.
