The 54th Red Carpet Tour brings prospective leaders and CEO's from around the world to the CSRA. The four day tour is centered around the Masters as a statewide effort to recruit businesses to Georgia.
"I think it's a great opportunity to invite our customers to join us down here in the future after we open our facility," said Dan Twork, North American Operations Manager of Inalpha Roof Systems.
"The eyes of the world are on this community and our state," said Speaker David Ralston of the Georgia House of Representatives. "It really gives us an opportunity to really show Georgia in a positive light."
Nearly 35 representatives began their tour on Wednesday in Atlanta and arrived in Augusta on Thursday to watch the tournament and to learn more about the region and community.
"We are constantly looking, we are looking for the new investment and another side part of this is we want to see our existing companies expand," said Executive Director Walter Sprouse of the Augusta Economic Development Authority.
Nearly four billion dollars worth of business has come from the Red Carpet Tour and now another company is planning to relocate to Georgia.
"Because our customer base is really down here so we had to relocate and basically open up a facility to satisfy our customer demands," said Twork.
"For the state it's great," said Georgia Economic Development Commissioner Chris Cummiskey. "Obviously we have prospects come in from not just the Augusta area but from around the state of Georgia and there is not a better stage to show them than Augusta National."
The group is scheduled to head to Athens on Friday but will be return Saturday for the third round of the Masters.
