Japanese automakers to recall 3.4 million vehicles

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Mazda are set to recall 3.4 million vehicles due to an airbag problem.

A Japanese auto parts maker supplied the affected airbags to all four companies. The cars are being recalled, because the driver-side airbags in some of the vehicles may not inflate.

No injuries have been reported due to the fault.
