Times-Dispatch carrier killed by wrong-way driver

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

The Richmond Times-Dispatch is mourning the loss of one of their newspaper carriers killed on the job.

According to the paper, 61-year-old Maxey-Ann Lynch died Sunday morning after being hit by a car.

The driver was going the wrong way on US-58 in South Hill.

30-year-old Santos Tomas was charged with involuntary manslaughter,driving under the influence, and driving without a license.

The Times-Dispatch reports that lynch worked as a carrier for 13 years.
