RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Investigators are looking into what caused an early morning fire at a Richmond business.

The fire started on North Thompson Street, between Grace and Cutshaw streets around 3:30 a.m.

When fire crews arrived flames were shooting from the building. It took crews a while to get the flames under control.

The building houses offices for Richmond Residential Services, Inc., a charity that helps people with disabilities find work. It sustained significant damage, especially on the top floor.
