Patrick Woodward is seeing cases of strep throat popping up in his offices.
They are frequent this time of year and are often caused by viruses or post nasal drainage, but the strep throat is different.
More often it is accompanied by fever and swollen glands and foul breath as hallmarks.
If symptoms are more than mild and persist more than a day or two while using ibuprofen and salt water gargles see your doctor.
