ARLINGTON, VA (WWBT) -

What started off as a little prank, ended up with one man being brought to the hospital and another getting arrested.

Two roommates got into a fight after one drew genitalia on his passed out roommate's face, reports ARLnow.com

31-year-old James Watson woke up to find that his roommate had drawn on his face while he was asleep on the couch after a night of drinking.  Watson woke up around 5:30 a.m. and discovered the new art to his face and immediately ran to his roommate's room and attacked him. The roommate was asleep when Watson entered the room and jumped on him, punching him repeatedly in the face causing serious and extensive injuries.

A third roommate woke up to the commotion, separated the two, and then drove the injured roommate to the Virginia Hospital Center. The police were called and charged Watson with malicious wounding.

Watson was booked with the drawing still on the right side of his face. We have blurred the drawing.
