RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Richmond Police are stepping up patrols around Stony Point Fashion Park following two robberies just days apart.

And right now, we're awaiting surveillance video from Monday night's heist at the Fink's Jewelry store. We're told that could be released within the next 24 hours.

Police say two of the three suspects were armed with handguns. The robbers are described as:

#1    A black male in his early 20's,  5'-7", average build, full beard, who was last seen wearing a yellow baseball cap and a waist length coat.

#2    A black male in his early 20's,  5'-7" average build, who was last seen wearing a dark colored baseball cap and dark colored jacket and pants.

#3     A black male in his 40's, 5'-10", above average build, who was last seen wearing a dark baseball cap.

Meantime, officers want the neighborhood to know -- they're watching.

"We want the community to feel safe to come to the mall, to be out here and shop. If you do come out, be vigilant be aware of your surroundings, we want you if you see something you feel is suspicious, you don't think is right, to please call the police and let us know," said Richmond Police Capt. Saturday, someone robbed the Foot Locker at Stony Point, but police don't believe the two crimes are related.

Anyone with any information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
