Leaders in Accomack are now introducing a burning ban in response to the more than 70 arson cases along the Eastern Shore.
That ban will include all uncontained fires set anywhere in the county, except for Chincoteague and Assateague Islands.
This does not include campfires. The ban will stay in effect as it's reviewed on a month-by-month basis.
A $25,000 reward is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest.
