The Huguenot Bridge will be down to just one lane for several hours Friday for construction.
Work will be going on from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. In that window, you could be sitting in your car, at a standstill for 15 minutes at a time. Northbound traffic will flow for 15 minutes and then southbound drivers will be allowed to cross for 15 minutes.
Barrier walls will be coming down which could cause immediate delays throughout the morning.
All of this is part of the $54 million construction project that is expected to be wrapped up in October.
