The awards have over 75 categories and are organized by industry focus of Content, Education and Software.
“We are very pleased for this outside recognition of our educational technology resources,” said School Improvement Network CEO and President Chet Linton. “Providing educators the support they need to be truly effective in preparing students for college and career is of pivotal importance. These awards for education technology are a reassurance that we are part of a quality solution to help educators in a highly scalable way.”
This year’s program features 23 Education categories, several of which are new or updated to reflect the latest industry trends and business models. Winners, including the educational technology winners, will be announced during the Ed Tech Industry Summit, an education technology conference in San Francisco on May 6.
School Improvement Network’s PD 360 Mobile application contains the largest online library of training videos for educators in the world. Coupled with these videos, the mobile application allows administrators to perform quality observations and evaluations for teachers and connect the outcomes to any of the 2,000+ educator-training videos.
“We’re pleased with the innovative educational technology products that made it to this stage. All of this year’s finalists show great promise, and they should be proud of their finalist status,” said Karen Billings, vice president of the SIIA Education Division. “I look forward to seeing them all in May at the Ed Tech Industry Summit.”
