Brand new developments on this Chesterfield home, recently attacked with fire and graffiti.
According to the Times-Dispatch, authorities said the fires were intentionally set and are under investigation as arson.
This all happened Friday morning in the Creekwood neighborhood, just off Newby's Bridge Road. That's when Dr. O. Deshea Cuthrell woke up to find his porch on fire. He, his wife, and three boys made it out of the home safely only to discover racist graffiti painted on his home.
The vandals even set his car on fire.
Most of the parts were donated to him for his cancer foundation.
All of these fires were ignited by some type of flammable liquid and that is what is being tested right now.
Meanwhile, the one thing we are still waiting to find out is a motive. Police still do not know why someone targeted the Cuthrell family. However, they do know that it was intentional.
