Source: WVIRA Charlottesville man won't be spending any time in jail, even though a judge recently found him guilty of an assault at the University of Virginia.
Police say 20-year-old Ryan Fenton pushed two female UVA students, then followed them to their residence hall. That's when police say he broke into a room of that building through a window and also assaulted a staff member.
Alcohol is believed to have been a factor for Fenton's behavior.
The judge suspended his jail sentence, and instead told Fenton to stay away from alcohol and complete 100 hours of community service.
