First Day of Spring

Good morning it's Gray. Here's a look at some of the stories you will want to catch before you leave the house on 12 News Today. It's the first day of Spring! So will the weather feel like it? Andrew will let you know what to expect for the rest of the week and your weekend.

Breaking: We've learned that an eighth Marine has died after an explosion during a training exercise in Nevada.

We are also tracking a developing story for you. A landfill near a Chesterfield school will not be bringing in a controversial chemical. We've learned this overnight, after 500 parents signed an online petition against the idea. Despite, this news, the fight might not be over yet. We'll explain what this means for parents.

Also, some businesses bracing for a weekend without water. Water will be shut off for three hours on West Broad Street from Boulevard West to the 195 Overpass, and several blocks of Marshall Street and Roseneath Road. Utility crews are replacing old, underground water valves.
