Police release identity of man shot in domestic dispute in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

Chesterfield Police are investigating a domestic-related shooting in a neighborhood near the Chesterfield Airport.

Police say a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at a home in the 6400 block of Lake Caroline Court near Cogbill Road led to the husband being shot.

Lee Edward Jacobs was taken to VCU Medical Center. He is in stable condition.

Police have two warrants for domestic assault against Lee Edward Jacobs, but no charges have been filed against the wife at this time.

    Police say a man has died, after being struck by a car, while he was riding a bicycle in Richmond's southside. It happened just after 10:30 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Hopkins Road.
