Winter weather forces school delays and multiple accidents

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Drivers could be in for a slick commute Monday morning.

The winter weather is causing a number of delays and some closings.

The wet and slushy conditions have also caused a number of accidents on the road, so drivers are warned to use caution.

For the most part the pavement is above freezing, but even driving in Richmond visibility is not great with sleet on your windshield.

For areas in Henrico, Goochland, and Hanover Counties we have slush on the ground, but by the afternoon we should be clear.
