
The Virginia Farm Bureau is going solo in its operation of the State Fair of Virginia.
The Farm Bureau announced Friday it will also assume full ownership of the Meadow Event Park in Caroline County.
Previously, it partnered with Universal Fairs LLC of Tennessee, After the fair's previous owner went bankrupt under a mountain of debt.
The Virginia Farm Bureau's president described the split as amicable.
The fair begins its 2013 run on September 27th.
