A woman arrested for a number of armed bank robberies in Chester says she lost her mind and needed money so she could smoke crack-cocaine.
Police say Touwana Tate-Edwards admitted to robbing four banks in Chesterfield since July of last year along West Hundred Road in Chester, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Investigators say she stole as much as $10,000. The paper reports Tate-Edwards will be sentenced in June.
