RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
Tonight Richmond Police officers got some well deserved praise.
The Korean American Grocers Association held an awards ceremony to thank police for cracking down on crime in some of the most dangerous parts of the city.
The grocers association says because of the officers their businesses and neighborhoods are safer.
We spoke two of the honored officers who tell us the community plays a big part in helping them deal with problems.
